CEO | Matt Plapp

Matt Plapp is the CEO of Restaurant Marketing That Works. He started his digital marketing journey back in 2008 helping restaurant owners increase their profits by attracting the attention of their customers every week.

Matt has a passion for helping people build successful businesses that bring smiles to the community. One of Matt’s favorite foods is Buffalo Wings, and he also loves CrossFit!

Doug Smith used to do college sports radio play-by-play. But now, he helps independent restaurant owners survive AND thrive! These restaurants pay their house mortgage, support the community, and provide people with jobs, so watching them succeed is way more than just a job for Doug.

Bruce Nelson

CFO

Bruce Nelson is a seasoned professional with a passion for numbers & hospitality. With 45 years in the industry, he enjoys using his skills to support ABR & DRYVER. His favorite memory is a laptop-free vacation in Turks & Caicos. When not working, Bruce enjoys sailing.

David Schlotter

Marketing Director

David Schlotter is a young man with an old soul. He loves telling restaurant owners’ stories through America’s Best Restaurants. His favorite memory was hitting the Vegas strip with the ABR team! When David isn’t traveling, he enjoys spending time with his family and eating his favorite food: prime rib.

Marcy Driscol

Accounting & HR

Marcy ensures everything runs efficiently and within budget. With a background in finance, she brings years of experience to Restaurant Marketing That Works. Her favorite vacation was a trip across four states. In her spare time, Marcy enjoys scrapbooking memories and indulging in dark chocolate.

Peter Glenn

Brand Manager

Peter, better known as "Matt Plapp" on social media, has been snowboarding for 18 years, showcasing his love for adventure. His ideal superpower, flying, comes from wanting to rise above the frustrations of impatient driving. Peter’s magnetic personality and zest for excitement are evident in everything he does.

Cole Plapp

Head of Fitness

Cole Plapp is a fan of video games, working out, and spending time with his dogs. His favorite treat is classic vanilla ice cream, and he’s a big fan of Chipotle. If given the choice, Cole would choose the superpower of flying, so he could explore anywhere at will. He enjoys listening to the Joe Rogan Experience for its authenticity.
